Moon painting

The Moon Painting was a class assignment. The assignment was to create a dream-like painting with different objects that don’t really belong together but create a cohesive design. I chose to create a bold colored space like scene with heavy acrylic paint. I used different painting techniques to create different textures and value within the piece. The background is made up of a washy purple to give it a galaxy effect with paint splatter stars. I think this is a really fun design.
